Oculus Rift seems like it'll be the jaw-dropping future of virtual reality for computer gamers.
But scratch that last part—the company's CEO just revealed plans to
make mobile VR goggles that work with Android phones. Soon, you'll be
able to experience virtual reality anywhere you go.
CEO Brendan Iribe made the surprise announcement today at
GamesBeat 2013, so details are slim; in fact, there was brief confusion
as to whether the system was aimed at Android or iOS devices. Now that's
cleared up, all we have to do is wait. The aim is to launch the mobile
