Earlier in October, Dell announced the impending arrival of two new tablets in its Venue line: The Dell Venue 7 and the Dell Venue 8. Yes, the numbers refer to the devices' sizes, not the silly notion that one would, say, run Windows 7 and the other, Windows 8.
Here's another number for you: 10/18, which represents the date at which Dell said that its new tablets would launch. As luck would have it, they did just that: The Venue 7 and Venue 8 are now officially on sale at Dell's online store as of yesterday, and they'll set you back a cool $150 or $180 for each device, respectively.
